An affiliate relationship means that Bella earns a commission when a guest books an activity or experience through a link provided within the Bella platform. The commission is paid by the activity provider — not by the guest. The price you pay for any activity is exactly the same whether you book through a Bella affiliate link or directly through the provider's website.
Bella currently participates in the following affiliate programs:
In addition to third-party affiliate programs, Bella works with locally curated vendors in each active market. When guests book directly with Bella-curated vendors, Bella may earn a referral commission of 8–20% negotiated directly with each vendor. These arrangements are separate from the affiliate networks listed above.
Activity and experience recommendations presented within the Bella platform are selected based on the following criteria:
Commission rates do not influence which activities are recommended or how they are ranked within the Bella platform. Bella-curated vendors are featured based on quality and local relationship — not commission percentage.
When you click an affiliate link within the Bella platform, the affiliate network places a tracking cookie on your browser. Cookie durations vary by network:
This means Bella may earn a commission on a booking made within 30 days of you clicking an affiliate link, even if you do not book immediately. If you book directly through the provider's website without using a Bella link, Bella does not earn a commission.
Affiliate commissions are paid by the activity provider from their existing margin. You will never pay more for an activity because you booked through Bella. In some cases, providers offer exclusive discounts or added value specifically for guests coming through affiliate partners — in which case you may actually pay less or receive additional benefits.
In addition to the affiliate programs above, Bella works directly with local vendors in each active market — including restaurant groups, fishing charters, water sports operators, and tour companies. These are independent commercial relationships. When a guest books a Bella-curated experience directly through the platform, Bella may earn a referral fee from the vendor. These arrangements are disclosed to guests within the relevant activity listing in the Bella app.
Bella partners with local Event Coordinators who curate and execute on-property guest experiences. When a guest selects a Curated Event through the Bella platform, Bella charges the Event Coordinator a referral fee equal to 15% of the event's hard costs upon completion. This fee is built into the coordinator's pricing model and is not an additional charge to the guest. Bella does not collect payment from guests for curated events — the coordinator invoices guests directly.
In accordance with FTC guidelines, Bella discloses material connections — including affiliate relationships and referral fees — wherever they are relevant to a guest's decision to book an activity or experience. This disclosure page, the Privacy Policy, and in-app activity listings collectively satisfy Bella's FTC disclosure obligations.
